Again, I don't disagree, but this is a longer way of saying you're hiring (and paying!) talented administrators with the goal of firing them. Even assuming an infinite supply of talented contributors, surely it's better to pay them to do the work than to resign for failing to do it!

I have a informal rule that any number reported without context to a generalist audience is meant to mislead. This works with every political slant, e.g. both DOGE style "$10 million to study SEAHORSES" and "800,000 gallons of water on AI!!!"
