In our scoping review, we searched for quality indicators that help assess and develop science communication that is ethical, robust, and engaging. The result is a comprehensive framework offering clear guidelines for reflection and practice.

Discrimination lawsuits based on race, religion and gender are prominent and popular newspapers focus on sensational events with less comprehensive reporting. Alleged perpetrators receive more news coverage than victims, with a growing reluctance to assign responsibility to specific actors.

We also took part in the International Conference for an Inclusive Digital Society (#IDS2025) as presenters, chairs, and volunteers. This conference, organised by @digisoc.bsky.social, brought together scholars to exchange ideas on building a more inclusive digital society ⬇️
