He/They
I really liked the movie, but the short story is incredible.

Agreed! I was thinking it would be cool to do a series linked by a Woods Between Worlds mini-setting where you can safely recuperate there between adventures but the longer you stay the more you forget, the less you are able to leave, etc.

This is the big appeal I see as well!

It was a wild like... 15 minutes where I roped in the one Boss who knew I wasn't a mole and then relocated and then popped into the thread and broke the silence, lol.

The shoes on dad nap, love to see it

Oddly, I've never actually made a MORK BORG dungeon - somehow! I've made a class and a little enemy encounter, but that's it. Maybe now is the time!

I know not all experiences with bleed were as positive as mine. I had the privilege and benefit of being in a very focused, tight-knit faction and - even before I was a Boss myself - a trio of Bosses that were always very open about IC/OOC chats and checking in - which was a huge help. #OVER/UNDER

Bleed for me mostly manifested as these intense ties to past memories/events from my life. Seemingly endless arguments over bylaws frustrated me just like my time with DSA had. The promotion vote failing reminded me of being passed over (twice) for a job I was a perfect fit for. #OVER/UNDER

Typically, I play games from a removed writer's room view where I'm always looking down onto the story, the characters - interested to see how it all plays out, good or bad - but #OVER/UNDER had me living nearly 24/7 as Denk to the point where I couldn't help but feel what he felt. Cool as hell imo.

When I was accidentally tagged into a thread plotting my assassination, my heart rate was skyrocketing! When my first vote to get promoted to Boss failed, I was angry and disappointed! When the cowboys wrote a secret thread full of wonderful goodbyes to me and the other Bosses, I cried! #OVER/UNDER

Makes me think they must be in some boring ass circles of the hobby (that or some really shitty ones)

"An OSR is a discord server full of transgender women" is so perfect. I've never understood people who don't seem to know anyone who is trans, because trans folks make up like 75% of my online buddies, but then I have to remember not everyone is in too deep on TTRPGs/OSR like me.

Extremely so! This type of black and white illustration is so evocative for me in helping writing jump off the page and straight into my imagination. Just wonderful.

#12 - Ancient Shores by Jack McDevitt. This one wasted a great premise with a real stinker of a writing style change for McDevitt and just being focused on a lot of the wrong stuff. Can't believe he wrote a sequel to this way after the fact too.
