I think if the whole IL plus Hoglander gets back and the team can play as designed, they would easily string together some wins. Right now they're on damage control with a good handful of AHL players.

Not if some other team takes a dive in the second half. Have to factor that in as well. Pace never pans out or stays the same.

Practice two days ago had a lot of shots from the perimeter. In games they keep going wide of the net. Obviously they are aware of it. Last night they played great in the 3rd and yet shots were just missing the net.

There's 55 games left in the season. Just about anything could happen. Last year at this time, the Blues were in the basement, people thought they were a wash, and they wound up going to the playoffs. Anything can happen.

I don't think they're going to do a fire sale. If anyone is offloaded it might be Sherwood or Kane. Otherwise I think the thing about all veteran players being up for trade might be a tactic to get them to step up and play better.

I'm still wondering when this team is going to be able to play a single game with the opening night lineup. Demko, Garland, Hoglander, Blueger, Forbort, Chytil...still out.

I they never even looked at the proposal. The submission portal had never updated with notices in almost two years. I think they had already decided who was going in the issue before they even had the open call.

I wonder if Trump is making money through drug trafficking somehow. Wouldn't surprise me at all. He's pardoned a good handful of white collar drug dealers.

It's ageism, plain and simple. Wait until you get turned down for a job and they hire someone half your age with less than half your experience and qualifications.
