Struggling to get the tool setter working in Linux CNC. Even turned to chatgpt...... Which has proven to be utterly unhelpful, spouting nonsense, nonexisting pins and control commands.

Crap just saw the news he's passed away...
He's always been one of those character actors who just showed up in all sorts of movies for me...
Including the wing commander movie. That had so many well known character actors in it's supporting cast.

After much fighting in fusion trying to setup a working cam model. I finally got the surfacing program made.... But it's sadly late and I still need to install the tool setter:( so no surfacing tonight

I just saw and reported another Youtube channel click baiting "And this is what the actor looks like now" it had an utterly revolting photoshop image of Marina Sirtis looking like she had some horrible condition.

I now see why he was kicked out of intel!
Very annoyed today... Was so damn close to surfacing the waste board on the CNC. But I don't have enough hose for the water cooled spindle. Ordered some was meant to get it this evening. Paid extra for it. And Amazon now tell me it's going to turn up Monday....! Grrrrrrrr.

But bdf is shockingly expensive now.... And one shop I found with decent enough prices want to charge 90 quid for shipping!
I don't think I'll be surfacing this weekend.

Been seeing a lot of bad reviews of Tron Ares which is disappointing as Im a Tron fan... But the RLM guys who I actually respect there reviews..... Actually liked it!

CNC machine update. I just got my first motor movement from linuxcnc on the CNC machine.
I only plugged in the x motor because I wasn't sure the drivers were running as I saw no flashes. But motor was moving!
I'll be able to do full movement tests tomorrow! Woooohooooo!
