Seriously. Take ten fkn minutes off to be a person.
Had a lovely long weekend home in Scotland, the briefest of trips this time (just went with a backpack).
Saw family, saw friends, exchanged gifts, ate a load of fried or battered food (very much the stereotype) and spent most of the time with my sisters wee dog.
Cracking weekend all round.

The general position of journalists in that Starmer Q&A appeared to be: The economy has been doing better than expected and so the Chancellor did not have to increase income tax, breaking a manifesto pledge, as feared, therefore, THE CHANCELLOR MUST RESIGN. 😵💫
I find it interesting that every single TV political journalist opened with an editorialising comment, while all the newspaper ones just asked questions. I suspect, because the latter know the question won't be in the write-up, while the former are trying to craft a clip that is all about them. ~AA

Labour lifted 450,000 kids out of poverty yesterday but according to Beth Rigby thats bad for Labour and as for the BBC, nah not even going to mention it.
Totally normally country, where the national broadcaster and biggest news channel clearly distain this Labour Government, not even hiding it.
