im not very pessimistic about destiny's ability to be revived, im more pessimistic about the company being willing to put the right people in the right place and pay them and care enough to actually do so.

the funny thing is they never actually fixed it lmao, they retextured it once when they added shaw han but if you compare it to base d2 its been legit the exact same since fucking 2016 lmao. while i agree regarding the content, i dont want a 300gb game

like destiny alone is the reason bungie got bought. sure it isnt worth $3.5b but there still arent any competitors in that space. all sony needs to do is rebuild player trust, and imo with destiny's history thats far easier than reinventing marathon. but what do i know, im just some internet jackass

i honestly dont agree, destiny is very savable it just requires actual fucking willpower from sony to push it. imo best case is bungie fails and sony retains the destiny ip
i think marathon will sell ok, like i dont think this is the death of bungie but we aint far off from it

they've neglected the destiny moneyprinter for far too long, since like 2019 (forsaken, tfs was amazing tho icl). I hope they got the kick in the ass they needed to start actually innovating with destiny but.... i doubt it honesly
