We do not despise it, we embrace it. We even have the Rocky Run that starts and ends there haha rockyrun.com

The Schuykill River Trail is a great trail for running along the river close to museum, as well.

I don’t think it’s a particularly controversial statement. I think the reality is, as with all things, it’s more complicated than that.

You can lose weight without exercising. You can’t outrun a bad diet. Your fitness watch way overestimates calories burned during exercise. TDEE is an estimate.

Yeah, I saw this a few weeks ago, and enjoyed the approach to solving the same problem. In a perfect world with endless free time to work on OSS, I'd like to have a plugin system so you could use ViewComponent, Phlex, etc. as well as defaults for CSS frameworks that ship as options for Rails

Yep that's all done in Ruby (and templates for ViewComponent). I've been off and on working on a gem based on the idea if you're curious. I think JSON is the best format to store content, but there's no easy way right now to render it.

Love ViewComponent! Introduced it at work to render ProseMirror based JSON (via TipTap) for book content that can be rendered either web based or for PDF intended for print. All your points track with what I found
