The people there, who wanted to speak to the masses about their boots on the ground efforts to continue this fight were left with speaking to far fewer people long after the 4pm official event end time.

My favorite thing about the @standupforscience.bsky.social map is that the French people obviously maintain their solidarity and know the history of our joint venture in revolution. Those in power in the U.S. would have us forget this, but I ’ll be Santa Fe tomorrow, how’s about you?

This one is not an album but if you have the opportunity to see Ken Pomeroy live, drop whatever you think is important and do it. Watched her keep the whole rooms jaw on the floor for 45 minutes when she opened with just herself, her guitar, and someone on an electric.

Maybe the only person with a song more misused/misunderstood than Born in the USA. I unfortunately feel like I’ll be sitting with some more Woody Guthrie in the coming years.

I was lucky to have a good friend in Athens when these guys were first getting started. I’m even luckier they somehow keep getting better and if you have a chance to see them live, one of the best. Futurebirds: Easy Company

Good Looks: Lived Here For A While. This band is just fucking awesome. And the last 3 tracks on this record are among the best consecutive tracks I’ve heard on an album.
