I have just finished reading this wonderful book by @bethcato.bsky.social , which is unlike any I have read. It’s available on this months Amazon First Reads for free, but will be buying the hard copy as soon as possible! The characters are infinitely lovable (human and house alike).

I don’t know why scrubs are restricted to one pocket per top. I keep hitting my chest looking for my pen.
Don’t they know we need to store a stationary cupboard, first aid kit, food & phones in the tiny pockets, yet they ration pockets like the material is needed for the war effort?! #mcm

Windswept and interesting. Just having a coffee and chilling after a stroll around the Promenade. The sun is shining, there’s a wonderful cool breeze and conditions are ideal for people watching on a sea day.

Now reading ‘Under the Whispering Door’. This is a great book so far, I’m about 2/3 of the way through. The premise is really interesting and the characters are easily lovable.
I don’t think I’m obsessed with death, but this is the fourth book on the subject that I’ve read in the last month or so…
