33 years ago today, with the Toronto Blue Jays trailing 4-3 in the ninth inning of Game 2 of the World Series, Ed Sprague belted a pinch-hit, two-run home run off Atlanta Braves reliever Jeff Reardon to give the Blue Jays a 5-4 win.

It's one of the biggest home runs in Blue Jays' history.

33 years ago today, the Toronto Blue Jays defeated the Oakland A's 9-2 in Game 6 of the ALCS to win their first AL pennant and become the first Canadian team to advance to the World Series.

Joe Carter and Candy Maldonado homered.

42 years ago today, Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Lloyd Moseby scored a run in the bottom of the first inning against the Seattle Mariners to become the first Jays player to score 100 runs in a season.

The Blue Jays lost the game 9-6.

Moseby finished with 104 runs that season.
