Part of the reason it’s not used here is because there really isn’t a single agreed-upon term used by the community/communities. It’s so large and diverse that it doesn’t fall neatly into easy terminology, even amongst ourselves.

I applaud the use of actual tanks instead of relying on CGI. The Tiger fight is a great action sequence, but it’s not very accurate. Fury’s long 76mm gun wouldn’t have had trouble penetrating a Tiger’s armor from the front, especially at the range depicted.

Not direct descendants, but T-Rex *was* more closely related to modern birds than it was to, say, Allosaurus or other large theropods.
