I am so SO happy to come from a culture that has basically no equivalent to any of these. Candied fruit is just not my thing, and liquor does not belong in desserts
Okay while we’re on the subject of polarizing holiday foods — what’s the Bluesky temperature on fruitcake? 😃 This one came from Mepkin Abbey in Moncks Corner, SC (town name unrelated, believe it or not) — buying one is an annual family tradition — and is possibly my fav holiday dessert period
