I think we should view Edwards' criticism of players yesterday in the context of what he said here.

It appeared he had something of an epiphany over the int'l break.

Seems too late now though and reads as desperation (even recklessness) when it probably wouldn't have done a few weeks ago?

Anyone know why there's no availability in the Oak Road for Derby at home on 20th December?

It can't have sold out at the 2-year member stage. It hasn't at this stage for any other game this season. So is it shut for some reason @lutontown.co.uk?

Of our total xG this season, 31% is made up of chances from set pieces - the third most in the league - and our total OPxG stands at 13.39 (16th).

Those aren't the kinds of numbers you'd expect given the style of play Edwards was selling during pre-season.

Moses had a poor game but can you blame him?

When you ask a right-footed, 33-year-old winger to play at LWB and go 1-vs-2 all game, you're not going to have much of an outlet on the counter.

We had the personnel to deploy players in their favoured positions, but...

Losing to Leeds at Elland Road came as no surprise to anyone, but the lack of belief and the way in which we surrendered the game was disheartening.

After all, this performance was supposed to bear the fruits of an "inspiring coming together of minds" recently.

🧵 Post-Leeds (A) & Edwards' Future

Leeds 3 - 0 Luton.

Insipid. Rudderless. Humiliating at times.

A widely-predicted defeat but a performance that was telling of where we are and where we're going (or not, in this case).

Luton Town lead the Championship in high pressing, forcing 25 more high turnovers than the median.

Let's not talk about what happens when we don't win the ball high up the pitch 🤫

🔮 How many points will we pick up from our next 5 games?

And do you think there's a minimum requirement? If so, how many points?
November 16, 2024 at 10:32 AM
And, yes, that probably will be the only thing any Luton Town player wins this season 😭

Of Doughty's 183 crosses, over half have come from set pieces.

Do you think he'll start sharing corners with Shandon Baptiste, who put in some decent deliveries against WBA?

Alfie Doughty is on course to SMASH the record for Attempted Crosses in a Championship season 💥

All-Time Top Three:
🥇 S. Thomas (23/24) - 474
🥈 R. Giles (22/23) - 445
🥉 J. Wallace (19/20) - 379

Alfie has already attempted 183 crosses.

If he keeps up his pace of 14pg, he *could* hit 617!

Who wants to see some Fanne?

We could be watching him in a Luton Town shirt in 7 weeks time 👀
