The thing you have to remember about Ezra Klein is that he, like most news anchors, is playing a part of how they *think* someone in their "historic circumstances" would act
He's basically cosplaying a character from the West Wing, which is why you get garbage eulogizing like this

I looked to see if there was a pattern of stuff like that from him and there definitely is. Leaders cannot fail, they can only be failed by us
