That's actually not true. She never pivoted hard right at all. Someone provided a graph of her popularity going up after she she said she wouldn't change anything and her popularity going DOWN after she said she would push for a ceasefire in Oct 2024. I'll look for the graph 1/

the key issue is the 1 percent have legions of academic PUMC bureaucrats and administrators who reinforce the idea of unskilled labor, while gatekeeping unskilled laborers from a decent standard of living, because they haven't "earned" it.
It's so wild to me that the capitalist ruling class, who are out there getting fat and enriching themselves off of the sweat and hard labour of the working class, don't just lie about how they "worked really hard for everything" they have, but also claim that labour can be "unskilled." It's so wild!

The United States' ultimate thesis is that being poor is a moral failing. If you have money, it's because you were trustworthy enough to "earn" it and thus can be trusted to be given more, whereas if you do not have money, it's because of your own personal failings and you cannot be trusted.
