@anisota.net love my harvest, thanks for building this!

two tiny bug reports if helpful; for some reason my Q1 shows as blank even though I was absolutely posting! also the share via bluesky doesn't seem to do anything for me even though I'm logged in?

I like my stats in my annual Bluesky harvest: I especially like how very me my emojis are!

and I love that the site gives you alt text to copy (you don't HAVE to log in to get yours, you can just search)

When giant companies say it's OK for them to tie product features to their app stores because they make users safer and then products going through their app store host ads that pretend to be official platform safety alerts (the even worse ad screen cgets auto hidden when you screen grab)

ok, since I just found a *perfect* example I'll drop it here. lawyer helping tech folks wrap their head around US export controls and obligations of people making a standard. code *that*!

I’m trying to find a more recent photo that shows just how big Phryne and Lyra are because these are when they were smaller

I got this little silicone retort (I mean, look at the shape, an alchemist would totally) for melting chocolate and butter in the microwave and I love it; easy to wash, has a lid, turns *completely inside out* so it's easy to scrape out every last drop and to wash

two separate agents; I can't remember if I found the paper for this, my browser history is chocka, but from a conference writeup

but I'm not sure how much it helps eg a CIO who wants to understand the difference between an Excel spreadsheet prediction model, regression and ML: the best thing I've ever found for showing that is this diagram from, of all people, McKinsey, because you see how much more info you get from it

it's going to be fascinating to compare the petition map for 'investigate Russian influence on UK politics' for the map of voting for Brexit (which Russia was very much in favour of)

my fascinating family history continues; the rich uncle of my great grandmother (who made their money bringing back carpet cleaning equipment from the US and setting up shop in London), who restored Okehampton Castle in North London and gave it to the local council was in this volunteer brigade!

this isn't mine, just one from a web search, but looks very like (I too used a coat hanger so I could hang it up, but I didn't do legs!

does it make a difference if you have done the thing that I can't remember how to do where you set what you want your emoji colour and default to be? if it's just that emoji of women are the default, then I have to say: YAY Microsoft I love it ;)

if you like cable porn, the network cabling in the Azure Fairwater data centres is *chef's kiss*

the things that look like hoses at a gas station bring the closed loop direct water cooling to the GPUs. some of the chips have these *etched channels* for cooling hotspots with microfluidics

finally needed to turn the heating on and also harvested tomatoes for maybe the last time this year but they are still putting out flowers and setting fruit so who knows (but I'd rather try and either ripen these or cook them green than have them freeze or split outside)

crochet people are always telling me crochet is faster than knitting! (I once spent over 2 decades knitting a really complex piece 3 colours per row changing every 1-20 rows with a pattern I made up as I went along so speed is relative)

and the 'how much will it cost if I do this as VMs and run it myself versus PaaS and you run it versus what do you mean the Broadcom licenses to have hosted VMware make it 10x the price' is what everyone has always wanted clouds to tell them in advance, so lots of low hanging fruit

Also found this fabulous picture of my grandfather’s sister (my great aunt?) Dorothy; he labelled other pictures of her “Good Old Dor”
