The Pope isn't "coming along". It's merely a reiteration of 2000 years of Christian teaching.
The Pope doesn't call for any harm to come to you. The biggest danger is that the latest document "in praise of monogamy" might bore you to death if you try to read it all.

Monogamy has been the Christian teaching for two thousand years. Polygamy and polyamory are only followed by people who are extremists in Christianity.
