I love all of these but also the humbling process of returning to something that once was easy. I’ve been a “doodler” for most of my life - I make elaborate pen and ink drawings. I recently started making lines while doing water colors with my kids and it felt so nice and so humbling.

The people who are selling these tools are only concerned with capitalism. We are seeing now that much of the adoption of chromebooks in schools was a bad idea. We should be critically examining the role of AI in education before it is adopted. And apparently that is not happening.

That is exactly it and it depresses me endlessly.

Speaking of more horrible AI ideas: someone just shared in our local parenting FB group “a free AI chat that answers medical questions in a personalized way and can escalate to a real doctor if something seems off.” They are suggesting using this when dealing with aging parents, SIGH.

The way to improve your human relationship is to seek advice from other humans. Or a book written by a human.

I was recently listened to a podcast that was discussing people who had AI to improve their parenting and I basically saw red. Everything is so stupid.
