As far as I can see, this nat sec strategy is far harsher on Europe than on Russia. There is no mention of a threat from Russia or of deterrence, only that "re-establishing strategic stability" is a priority. Europe is cast as a major threat to freedom. A radical, dangerous document.

"The Arab region is being pushed to its limits by intense heatwaves and severe droughts, as it warms at twice the global average."

"Pushed to its limits": i.e. the limits beyond which human civilisation isn't really possible there.

Ah yes. Very aggressive feminists provoking a calm and rational man, as we see.

Seriously, though, Benni Scuderi doing amazing work at keeping a calm pose while this nobody in a suit is pushing his finger up her face. Who is that guy and what is he even doing there if he can't control himself?

My question would be if, as a "bsse" , "centre", "foundation", in addition to catastrophe (and then collapse) you are thinking of adding war?

Congrats on the upcoming book, by the way, lovely! United against fear indeed! ❤️

...and Finnish unions going "we had this in the past, we control the present, it can not be the future" or in the most sympathetic case "maybe that's OK to talk about in France but we are a Nordic country".

They were handed the tools for TODAY'S war, by now already yesterday's, and threw them away.

Reading now, great text as always. My main interaction with what I understand you as describing was a maddening few years when trying to shout at labour on precarity (both of labour and of existence, "sans-papiers")...
