Hey Brent! The Chronicle pushed me out about seven years ago, after a grand, 20-year run. What a ride. Haven’t landed on a new channel just yet. Seems everyone and their dog has a substack/podcast. Cacophony. But still hoping to re-engage without poisoning my soul. Appreciate your note!

You’re marvelous, but this is insanely obvious and you’re preaching to the choir.

How about “The 2029 Buttigieg Administration will forgive all student debt, double teacher salaries and make public universities free.” Much better.

This comment makes it seems like you don’t actually pay for or subscribe to any of them. Every major ‘breaking news’ headline you see on BlueSky or from any Aaron Parnas-type originates from real journalists busting their asses at Trump-demonized MSM orgs. Bashing them is a lazy GOP talking point.

The Associated Press is based in NY and its reporting can be used by any/all major US news outlets who subscribe to its network (which is all of them). Quit bashing US news you clearly don’t pay for/support. 2 mins of Googling shows the LAT and Post, among others, covered this.

They’re not labor camps. They’re death camps. No one is ever released. No one comes out. Yet they always have more room.

This is a very dumb and painfully obvious statement. Sounds like an intern/publicist wrote it. You’re smarter than this. Right?

They aren’t ignoring them at all. They’re targeting them. Intentional devastation to millions of small businesses who can’t survive/compete, so they will be demolished and/or swallowed up by giant corps who will consolidate wealth & power even further.

This makes it sound as if SCOTUS dealt Trump a significant blow. They did not. It’s an extremely narrow decision, mostly the result of Trump’s lawyer’s flub. It has zero effect on the tens of billions USAID had been distributing, and restarts nothing. This was a bee sting to the oligarchy.
