Example bonkers resolution passed at Alberta UCP AGM?

"...ensure that mRNA products are not being injected into our livestock or food sources..." cuz "...never been proven to be safe..."

Huh? Impressive display of scientific illiteracy & conspiratorial thinking...

' “I’ve got a little tip for low-life criminals out there: if you don’t want to get shot, don’t break into someone’s house,” Smith said during her speech.' Like that happens every day in Alberta. Blatant parroting of U.S. politics. And some may read it as encouraging use of lethal force.

Yep, "the Frankenparty stitched together by Jason Kenney." That's the reality that's always papered over. It's never been fully united, despite the name. There's a permanent struggle for dominance, with the old Wildrose faction usually in command, and the only glue is fear of the loss of power.

G&M story on start of UCP annual meeting says: "Friday’s event began with a sermon that included a moment of silence for U.S. political commentator Charlie Kirk … ." Tells where many of their heads are: not in Alberta, not in Canada, but captured in a twisted U.S. media and cultural space.

You mean like how I was being medically gaslit by my UCP eye surgeon in Alberta and he refused to do one unless I paid out thousands out of pocket or got to bill #ableg gov't a premium?

Or charging $4800 for necessary contact lenses that only cost 25% in my new province and fully covered?😬 #abpoli

Surprise! The “peace plan” is really just a plan for Trump, Witkoff, Don Junior and their friends to get rich.

As I wrote about the “peace” deal, it was a plan for Russia & the US to divide up resources that should go to Ukraine in a sweeping attempt to comprise American security

Today’s WSJ has the goods on how people who only believe in money are the most dangerous people:

This peace deal only has 3 steps.
1. Russia gets the land
2. Trump gets a bribe
3. Ukraine gets an empty promise

Check out Resolutions #20 for UCP AGM. 👇

- Stop mRNA vaccines use in AB?
- provide vaccine detoxing (read: embrace pseudoscience)?
- educate about "vaccine injuries"?

Two main arguments keep on surfacing when I raise concerns about Dual Billing and the fact that at this point it is nothing more than a govt edict with no plan/specifics whatsoever

Opinion: Why Alberta’s dual-practice model puts patients first
I want to express my support for the bold structural reforms the Alberta government is implementing to address our broken health-care system.

The exposure of so much fakery on X—MAGA influencer accounts revealed to be non-American mixed with fake screenshots showing false countries of origin—is an epistemic nightmare come to life. Not that everyone falls for it, but that people don't know what's real, and have excuses to dismiss anything.
I wrote about the fake account blowup on X this weekend. A genuine post-truth nightmare and proof that these companies have polluted their platforms so thoroughly and traded reality for profit that they've undermined the very idea of what the internet is supposed to be.

Hilarious, but also scary in its way.
The draft dodging idiot posted a pic of this West Point plaque. It contains these words:

“Our American Code of Military Obedience requires that, should orders and the law ever conflict, our officers must obey the law.”

That is precisely what Senator Mark Kelly told officers to do. #NoSedition
