Strongly agree. I'm also very surprised this hasn't had bigger attention in Scotland: new HS2 trains but a lack of new dedicated rail north of Birmingham to run them on, will lead to increased congestion on the already brittle WCML. All comes back to capacity.

Glad to see the empty Mercat Building's going to be put to use soon (housing I think).
This is a pipe dream I'll always have for it though: a grand gateway station for the old centre of Glasgow. An idea Angus Doyle also had in his imagined 'Glasgow Metro' map from a few years back.

Can't be alone in finding my own attachment to them constantly changing?
Def went through that 'Lennon is God' phase as a teenager. Then a bit of George worship (being the relative 'quiet one' in a band too). Used to see Paul's stuff as twee, but have done a 180 on that too these last ~five years.

Inexplicably got it in one with a lucky guess of the right country, going by the cathedral, the look of the squares, roofs. And then a bit of a punt that it couldn't be one of the bigger cities.
