It's a moot point - the developer hasn't a snowball's chance in hell of selling enough units pre-construction to get financing. Why do you think so many projects have been canceled or are in receivership?

I moved from the U.S. to Canada in 2006 and have no regrets. In my case it was a job relocation, but it still meant taking the plunge. I look at the U.S. now with pained bemusement. I know I did the right thing - last night was opening night at the opera, I got teary when they played 'Oh, Canada'
