Finally figured out how to get app icons to change in #iOS26. You need to have the new IconComposer .icon and the assets AppIconSet named the same.

for those playing around with Icon Composer - when you need to add variations to some of the items (the + button) you only get the mode type for the active one in the canvas. so dark only when viewing dark icon, mono when in mono view. same for ios vs watchos

I really enjoyed this 2-parter, and I know you like collecting tips! This is one I wrote from your previous video on RawRepresentable. Means I can conform to StringRawRepresentable and automatically have the encode/decode. Also have other ones for Data too!

@liss.bsky.social I just listened to the latest ATP - not sure if anyone reached out for the SFSymbol but I made one in case no one had: github.com/markbattiste... also if you import it, then you can create your own merged ones with circle, rectangle, etc when you combine with component too

email is wild. first we had no knowledge of if the person read it or not. then they added read receipts. then they made it impossible to decline the receipt. then they gave people the ability to turn of sending receipts. now you can recall an email and get a report if the people have read it or not
