In parts of southern #Spain, temperatures are well above average, with 42C also expected in Seville and other cities.

AMAZING! As a Jewish person, I 100% SUPPORT this!

But as a New Yorker this also reminds me how TACKY & GAUDY Trump Tower is.
Hundreds of Jewish people and their and allies have taken over Trump Tower chanting, “We want justice. You say how. Bring Mahmoud home now!” and, “Fight Nazis, not students!”

The ICE arrest of Palestinian student activist Mahmoud Khalil has spawned this immediate and ongoing civil disobedience.

While many struggle to make ends meet, the wealth of the super-rich has soared. It doesn’t have to be this way. There’s another way—one that prioritises fairness, sustainability, and equality. It starts with making those at the top pay their fair share.

We pay too much attention to the most confident voices—and too little attention to the most thoughtful ones.

Conviction is not a sign of credibility. Speaking assertively is not a substitute for reflecting deeply.

It's better to learn from complex thinkers than smooth talkers.
