Today's #BirdOfTheDay theme is #BerriesAndBeaks. These mockingbirds were happy to find some blackberries in my backyard. I don't think the young one was ready for such a big bite though!

I wish this guy had perched closer to where I was, but that was the right kind of branch for me to get a look at the usually hard to see red belly of the Red-bellied woodpecker.
