An obvious gap in the Farage story is what Priti Patel makes of his vocal objection to the Patels of Dulwich College, burning the school roll when the Patels outnumbered the Smiths.

Maybe this would be pro-Farage testimony of how he has softened towards some Patels over time, but it is a clear gap
I wonder what Priti Patel makes of her friend Nigel Farage's racist fixation about the surname Patel? Will she enjoy partying with him next conference season?

Ukraine gave up its nuclear weapons in exchange for assurances of support in the event of aggression…

History has shown that without effective guarantees, international law often fails to work in practice.

From the new and quietly released U.S. Security Strategy. They don't like our liberal ways, and will "cultivate resistance within European nations".

Let me translate that for you. Support

- AfD in Germany
- Rassemblement National in France
- Reform in the UK

So, "make Europe Nazi again"...

Fuck.
No way we should despair - because the US will cultivate resistance withing Europe - to change our current trajectory.

Keep an eye out for little green American men.

European reaction to the new American national strategy document
The headline, the main takeaway from a European viewpoint is this:

The transatlantic relationship as we know it is over. Yes, we kinda knew this. But this is now official US White House policy. Not a sppech, not a statement. The West as it used to be no longer exists.
