i’m not in the business of deciding who is and who is not a “real” christian. that’s above my paygrade. but “devout” implies a level of devotional rigor that pete hegseth has not even kind of demonstrated. christianity is a very broad religious tradition, but the book does have a few rules.

A deep irony that so-called “Bible-believing” churches are proving themselves to be anything but because, like, the Beatitudes are too woke.
I know not everyone is in this place. It doesn’t mean I am rich, have a perfect anything, or have zero stress or anxiety or even depression. There’s nothing I am wanting for. There’s nothing I am lacking. The rest of this week has been about acceptance of me, you, and trying to let hope expand.
