So this is what happens when your school opts out of a bowl. Spring football starts as soon as Jimmy Rogers moves in. Maybe this is the finger to the league for scheduling a game in Ireland.
The Big 12 conference is issuing a $500,000 institutional fine to Iowa State and Kansas State for opting out of their bowl games.
