Love Minecraft? Here's a starter pack of some fellow Mojang Studios folks who might post about Minecraft games or the studio.

I'll update the list over time. Please share with those who're interested!
I’ve been going ham on Hades 2 since release, so it’s time to try to wrap up Silksong. Surely I have easy things coming up, right…?

Oh right, I was at the Festival of the Flea 😭

The amount that I love someone’s game is proportionate to how much my brain short-circuits while attempting to speak with them. I ran into Sandfall’s CEO Guillaume Broche at Unreal Fest and I *think* I said something coherent in there, but most of it was blabbering about loving Clair Obscur.

Here we go! 🪡 🎶

One of the game dev speakers at the #UnrealFest opening remarks said that they partially got their start making minigames in Minecraft. I love that there’s going to be a whole generation of new game devs who got their start in the blocky sandbox. I can’t wait to see what they make.

Remembering this classic shirt- what would a periodic table of Minecraft look like today?

I think it's funny that, just like the real world, the periodic table would expand over time given new discoveries.

I’m honestly not sure what to do with these. This is what happens when your Dungeons arcade machine is on freeplay for like two years. 😅 Once they’re dispensed they’re done, in-house freeplay is not the intended use model!

(No I can’t ship them to you, cards are heavy)

My mom called me last night about the Kimmel firing, saying "This is how Hitler got started!" I quickly responded, "By firing the late night tv hosts?"

Turns out, mom was right.

“The Imperial need for control is so desperate because it is so unnatural. Tyranny requires constant effort. It breaks, it leaks. Authority is brittle. Oppression is the mask of fear. Remember that.”

Anyway, canceled my Disney+ subscription. (And got the recent auto renewal refunded)

Heck, gotta finish Silksong! The game is LONG!
HADES II v1.0 arrives in less than one week!!🌒

It will be available worldwide at 9am PDT on Thursday, September 25, or your local time, on Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, Steam, and the Epic Games Store.

The modern day connections in the AC series are part of the reason I play them starting with “eagle vision works in real life??” in AC1. The segments allow us to examine the historical context of events you’re reenacting. Without them we lose a cool hook and background plot and I am less interested.

You can pick any four real arcade machines to start a mini home arcade. Space and money aren’t an issue, no emulators. Which four are you picking?

Here are my choices!

Hollow Knight was a cute game for babies compared to Silksong.

If anyone feels like they needed to get in on the Silksong hype and they haven’t already played Hollow Knight… play HK first. Silksong amps up the difficulty and slows down the pacing a bit. It’s very good so far, but the original 100% holds up today and can help you. Buy both if you want!

A lot of video-game publishers spend hundreds of millions of dollars chasing after "realistic graphics" and "massive open-worlds" when what players really want is just a shitload of weird little guys

Is there a visual like this for Minecraft?

I thought that two weeks was enough to finish a replay of Chained Echoes plus the new DLC. I was wrong, and now the song of silk is nearly upon us. Have mercy. 🙏🏻

Boooo. Boooo to all parts of this. 😔
SCOOP: Perfect Dark was almost revived.

The game's developers were close to a deal with Take-Two to fund and publish the game following its cancellation by Xbox in July, sources say, but negotiations fell through, leading to layoffs at Crystal Dynamics last week. www.bloomberg.com/news/article...

I see lots of comments about long-running games continuing to do feature updates for free, and how it's morally superior to games with paid updates.

The reality is that most of the "free" updates are paid for by game sales, or GamePass attribution, or even merch sales.

Nothing is ever free.

I keep thinking about games with gigantic scope, like GTA or No Man’s Sky. And unless you already have the money (and thus dev time), how do you not disappoint at launch? NMS is great now but consider that it’s been developed for THIRTEEN years. It’s so rare to launch with a scope so massive.

Minecraft players are sometimes like, “Why do you have so many capes, do you think you’re better than me, bet you didn’t even earn those”

To which I answer, here is my Pokedex, here is every MtG planeswalker, and somewhere at my parents’ is a childhood coin collection.

My brain just does this. 🤷🏻‍♂️
