It’s not just in the UK, we are seeing an overwhelming numbers of important and historic structures in Ontario, Canada currently being demolished. All in the name of progress. Structures I grew up reading about. It seems no one cares anymore.

I love the chiseled finish. These days we often over finish our work. I’m guilty of this myself. It’s nice to be reminded of this by the actual historic example. Thanks for the great quality photo.
