Stuck in Gare de Lyon, as the TGV that was supposed to leave over an hour ago, is still on the platform. However, the station's restaurant did not disappoint!

Launch successful! Lots of good discussions on minimum information standards for AI applications in proteomics, ranging from experimental design to raw files, identifications and quantifications.

The timsOmni is one massive Swiss Army knife for top-down proteomics of protein complexes and complex PTMs. Impressive new data presented this morning at the Nordic Conference in Mass Spectrometry and Proteomics in Odense. Ion activation network allows (in theory) 125 types of MS^4 experiments.

Did you talk about the taste and mouthfeel of the individual amino acids? You know, from the days when chemists used their biosensor 1.0 to identify compounds?

Unfortunately it was rather cloudy when the space selfie was taken, at 12:38:05 CET on July 7, 2025, some 600 km above Dresden, where our penultimate stakeholder workshop was held. This was the view from the ground at the exact same moment the photo was taken:

The Workflomics Project on AI-driven workflow bake-off aimed for the stars to reach the treetops. In the end, we even made it into outer space! Great collaboration with co-PI Anna-Lena Lamprecht, @pratikomics.bsky.social and many others. Here our #spaceselfie: space.crunchlabs.com/selfie/RvYBRmg.

Much appreciated guilt tripping/roasting for being a no-show at a meeting I forgot that I registered for. Mea culpa! But glad to see the sandwiches got eaten in any case:

Small but dedicated @elixir-nl.bsky.social contingent braving 33°C and sunny weather while climbing the ten towers of the Heptapyrgion, hiking down to the Atatürk Museum and the Roman Forum of Thessaloniki (both closed). Still, a very nice way to spend an afternoon [email protected] All Hands.
