Today, I had an excellent meeting with the Deputy Prime Minister & Foreign Minister of Pakistan, Mohammad Ishaq Dar.
I had a good meeting with Deputy Minister Nicholas Ioannides to discuss Cyprus’ priorities for their Presidency in the first half of 2026. This comes as we enter the final phase of implementing the Pact on Migration and Asylum and advancing the adoption of our new Returns proposal.

On the margins of the Forum, I held productive bilateral meetings with Ministers Stoklund, Šaranović, and Dačić.
The EU values its strong cooperation with Montenegro and Serbia on internal security and in curbing illegal migratory flows.
