I've had experience with a narcissist, and there really isn't a both sides argument here. They're really all very similar and predictable.

But didn't they issue a blanket policy a couple days ago that rescinded all of the asylums granted for Afghans who served with US military during the war?

I'm reading that the asylums that were granted to Afghans who worked with US military in the war were being rescinded and revisited on a case by case basis, including those for family members of the protected.
This man was one of them who got asylum. I wonder if this played into this attack.

They were canceling all those Afghan asylums and redoing them. Also freezing any new ones.
