Getting too old for sleepless sleepovers so it'll be dark before I have energy for more than sitting on the couch.
Good time for a guilt free 'festive' movie though and some nostalgia for the days of vinyl roofs, pagers and Xmas starting around the 18th December ... (& ice cream).

Wandered down the town tonight to see Santa and he said if I was very very good there would soon be a wee gig venue in the high street.
Hope folk will come and play for us and I won't always be jumping on trains to hear music.

Night at the opera took an unexpected turn.
Bailed from La Boheme at half time (once you've heard one aria ... & we couldn't cope with the sad ending) & made it back to our hotel for the 2nd half of the footie.

In my excitement at seeing a blue sky and snow on the hills I forgot that it's been chucking it down the rest of the week - I might be a wee bit muddy.
There's even a touch of snow on Ben Cleuch in the Ochils 🎉
