I always liked Joan Greenwood. Way back in the 1990s, I used to go for manicures at a salon near Oxford St (London) run by an actress. Joan Greenwood was a client, and one day, I found myself having a manicure next to her. She was charming...that voice!

I'm all for women's roles being improved. I don't know about the new Tom Jones. I can't think of it without Albert Finney! I'll look it up anyway.

I quit smoking the easiest way. I simply read Allen Carr's book and, after decades of smoking— and trying everything from nicotine gum to hypnotism—since I finished the book over 20 years, I've never even THOUGHT about smoking again.
