Bring it on, people!

Nice crafting, building a creative lifetime memory for Lily.
Madeline looks to be contemplating her next move. She's building her future castle, home sweet home.

I’ve never visited your area & would happily take you up on that kind invite, if ever the opportunity should come to be. It looks beautiful and warm. Whenever I can get it, the ocean has always been strong therapy for me. Stories there, many a beach in my time, continues today. Delightful.

But I owe the basis of my special talent & success in connecting with kids & families to my severely dysfunctional childhood home & subsequent years as a foster child. Stubborn persistence won out in the end & the insight from all that enhanced unique ability I brought to my work. So many stories.

I’ll share that the art in my career was as an elementary teacher, special education, serving the most needy in self contained settings. I was a kid magnet in that environment, especially to the naughty loves…haha. I excelled through hard ass work, love and commitment. And grit, a shitload of grit.

Smiling wide at the sweet joy in this clip. The fun in functional growth. Lily and Madeline mirror the girls who regularly volunteered during their recess as big kid peer models to play, read, work etc. in my classroom. Carry on, fine girls!

You are a man of integrity and honor, Ed Coonce. I admire and thank you for that, just to let you know.

An exhausting task, but do all you can to keep Lucy tightly tucked under your safe wing until this bullshit is put behind us sometime, somehow, someway.

Can't come soon enough, wish I could project when. I truly regret that I won’t be alive to read the historian accounts. Sad for that.
December 1, 2025 at 10:37 AM
Your fear for Lucy’s safety is legitimate, as you are more than well aware. Regardless of legal immigration status, innocents are caught up in this nightmare racist breech of due process in America. Getting disappeared is some scary crazed fascist shit happening in the streets.

I had mentioned to you previously in a post that I love your Lucy, too… and I meant it.

Though I don’t, in reality, know her, as I read some of your work, I imagined her high respect and commitment to you and your love for her, so apparent.

Strong virtuous woman, lucky guy.

Wow, I so appreciate your reply, helpful in understanding. Quite a story to tell. Even in this quick clip, the connection is clear to underlying themes deep inside many of your introspective writings.

Special beauty you’ve spilled over scorched facts, mister.

He's precious...and knows a great character when he sees one.

Yay! Not in offense to your intelligence, obviously, but in terms of hope for the future. Generational honing of the genes, breaking cycles and such.

Abe is your legacy to the world. Sweet treat, thanks for him!

Abe and his Mom sure are resilient as hell, happy to know. Do you see many traits of David in Abe like music, art, cooking? Talent runs deep in your blood, I imagine he is chock-full.

Stories are meant told, therapy for the soul. In my view. Thanks for sharing this one.

Purest love in that picture, handsome fellas! All those sweet memories of David and his Mom tucked in with the forever pains held in mind & heart. Finite time sucks most when it’s least deserved. Heavy WTF hits in this life. So very sorry.

Glad to know sis has love at her side when most needed. Best to her & you all in quick healing from this trauma!

I am in the High Desert of Central Oregon, close by Mt Bachelor. We had our first dusting of snow overnight, temps in the 20s, damn freezing!
November 30, 2025 at 10:49 PM
Thinking of the difference a day can make… hopeful that your sis is holding strong and steady, resting comfortably today in some of the best hands - she so deserves.

Also, for you, keep on keeping on - taking the best care as you can & do, be well!
November 30, 2025 at 6:28 PM
That’s a pretty frightening & complex high stakes situation. I love & trust in science tooling up the medical staff to best stabilize her condition.

Thank you for the update, sending hopeful thoughts. 💙
November 29, 2025 at 8:48 PM
Oh gosh - sending positive energy for healing! Wishing her well!

No worries...will do.

Bizarre is that the poor vote for it, every election. Culture war v food or healthcare. Citizens United helps that bs along quite effectively. Now we’re saddled with Project 2025 in full bloom. How to break that code of wtf are they thinking remains elusive.

Ha - Disastercard ! I’m enjoying the economic boycott very much! Shop small local businesses, helps to stay mindful of buying only essentials, gets easier the more you do it, automatic. Hit them where it hurts & save a lot.

Hold zero sympathy for any of them, crying about affordability or any other rot their willful cult ignorance brought on themselves to own the libs, suck eggs. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. FAFO dumbasses.
