Brexiters swore we'd stay in the Single Market and that the EU would let us cherry pick whatever we wanted. If people had known they were lying before the ref, Brexit would have been rejected.

I love how people that don't live or work or pay taxes in Scotland keep fighting over Scotlands Gas & Oil
Utter insanity

Emissions up to now already lock-in a return to the Pliocene - 3C hotter and sea-levels eventually ~ 20m higher

Emissions need to fall by at least 50% in 48 months

The last thing we need is more effing oil and gas

As of the 19th of November 2025 Glasgow Council is still going to charge employees of The Scottish Ambulance Service for using bus lanes while conveying patients in an ambulance. Tell me why taxis have authority but Ambulances taking people to Urgent appointments don't?

No longer can this be called 'A voluntary union' if English politicians keep denying to recognise a legitimate mandate.

Reform/Conservative voters want fewer immigrants. So we need more babies as we are declining population. Reform/Conservative voters want to make it more difficult to have larger families. Right. That makes sense.

Russia's deficit has leaped from $2bn last year to $48bn this year. And selling some of its $200bn gold stockpile is needed.

Interesting! What we're seeing with all this new data is that the Brexit damage is only getting worse as time goes on. Companies aren't "adjusting", they're either leaving, downscaling or going under. From manufacturing to services to culture to farming and fishing, the decline is snowballing.
