That’s a thing that echoes to me some times. The shame and embarrassment of things that I’d done or the way I’d behaved. Then I see how far I’ve come and I know I’m doing good. But that shame still lingers

Yeah I’ve been there myself Bill and completely agree with you. If you’re going to make the change it can only come from within. And if you’re not strong enough to confront your demons, it’s destined to fail.
