See this page- Cranks have tried to use information quality rules to lobby the CDC to modify its site in the past. CDC expends resources telling them to pound sand.

Now we're in the mirror universe.

The NIH witchcraft section NCCIH (formerly NCCAM) is looking for a leader 🧙‍♀️🧙

NCCIH’s recent escapades include partnering with the dangerous quack group Institute for Functional Medicine, and funding a database of fictional acupoints.

Maybe @springernature.com shouldn't let people who have a history of scientific misconduct make a pseudoscientific book with their buddies, including employees of a Mexican quack clinic.

The new Wakefield-level paper by ILADS/MAPS quack Rosalie Greenberg, MD contradicts decades of research about #Lyme and its diagnosis.

Experts agree: "No studies suggest a convincing causal association between Lyme disease & any specific psychiatric conditions."

Of course Senator Ron Johnson endorsed Pierre Kory's MMS bleach quackery book 🫠

Quite the unholy journey of Pierre Kory, MD from vitamin cocktail/PANDAS quack to ivermectin/anti-vax quack to full-on bleach quack.

The American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board is so hostile to the public that they refuse to allow anyone to independently verify a nurse practitioner’s claim of being board certified without paying a $40 fee.

Excellent news: Bruce Hoffman, MD of Alberta suddenly retired after he cheated a woman who was dying of a degenerative neurological disease.

Hoffman is associated with numerous quack groups like ILADS, A4M, ACAM, FLCCC (now Independent Medical Alliance), Institute for Functional Medicine, & ISEAI

Quite the quack fest, including two chiropractors pretending to be doctors.

We also have Brianne Dressen, one of the anti-vaxxers who worked with Akiko Iwasaki and Harlan Krumholz to spread nonsense by creating a "giving Wakefield" preprint and exploiting Yale's brand name.

ArminLabs is run by ILADS quack Armin Schwarzbach, who was exposed by the Danish journalists.

Schwarzbach sent an email indicating that a healthy journalist had active #Lyme and coinfections.

And only 1 of 4 journalists were negative on an Elispot test.

Young Milly also had an Elispot test!

MDPI is a predatory publisher that became a vanity publisher for cranks.

Autism quack Richard Frye, MD has been editor of 7 MDPI special issues!

And of the 52 articles published in these issues so far, Frye is a co-author of 24 articles, or 46%!

Thanks- Frye sued his former employer Phoenix Children's Hospital last year in Maricopa. (No docs available)

@cave-malum.bsky.social noted that his NIH grant was not transferred when he left Phoenix Children's (and eventually started working under Rossignol's brand name)

Small correction to your recent newsletter- Richard Frye's trial NCT01602016 was listed as suspended and later terminated in 2015, not 2017.

It's very strange that Frye's 2016 publication (and two others) fails to mention it.

It's disturbing to see the whitewashing of long-time quack Richard Frye by media sources that should know better.

Frye has long been associated with the anti-vax "autism biomed" movement, which promotes bogus treatments.

His dubious trial was terminated for non-compliance.
