It's Schrodinger's Sexuality to a lot of people: they're gay in all the ways that matter to let them discriminate against them, but straight in all the ways that means "they're not really oppressed" or "they're just straight with benefits" depending on their personal side of the aisle

I lived across the road from a bet shop during university, and when in 2016 I realised you could bet on the outcome of Brexit (and later elections) all I could think is "how is this legal, when you can in effect influence people's votes with the prospect of winning money for a certain result?"

I found this a while back when I got curious about it as I was reading Maus (specifically the start of part 2 chapter 2 where Spiegelmann is discussing his experience with the success of Maus pt.1) and did find that a comic was made post October 7th in collaboration with Joe Sacco.
