Not my normal sort of book but this was amazing. Don't be put off by the blurb It's a really clever page turner that's not so much about a serial killer as such . One of the POV's from from a cat . I'm gifting it to friends and family this Christmas.

Finally got around to watching The Fantastic Four . It isn't bad . There are a lot of cringe moments and some of the humour doesn't land but it's fun enough and the stuff set in space is very good . It did feel more like a TV Show than a film however and I think that would have worked better

William Castle's Homicidal 1961 deserves more attention. It has a intro by him and a 'Fright Break' near the end such was his way with gimmicks but the film is genuinely very well made with an excellent performance from Jean Arless. This must have shocked audiences at the time.

Just watched They Came from Beyond Space 1967 and I thought it was a cross between an ep of The Avengers and a Dr. Who film. After I read this , which makes sense now. To save costs, the production used many sets and props from the Amicus movie Daleks' Invasion Earth 2150 A.D. (1966) filmed earlier.
