I’m rewatching some mid series of Star Trek Deep Space Nine. I’m loving the Ferengi episodes especially, but I’m so reminded of how Cop Landlords was the greatest joke in the entirety of Lower Decks, and that’s a very high bar to reach

I got sent my 7-year-old’s new math curriculum, and home support guidance so I made a Python program: generates multiplication & division problems, randomised encouragement, and XP to save for Robux or whatever. Couldn’t settle on a title, so I randomise from a list of 20… all thoroughly cringe.

So a Raspberry Pi Pico microcontroller can be persuaded to calculate and render out Mandelbrot using Python without too much bother at all

I think Uber might be having a bit of a wobble today. I got some refunds through for trips I rated 5* without asking. A driver didn’t show up, but picked someone else up across the city. And I got a pet uber that wasn’t communicated to the driver that I was bringing a cat. They were chill though

I've been a little worried about my laptop today, it's been making really loud noises just doing basic things, like was it overheating? After searching for the issue for about 30 minutes, turns out that my house's water heater had kicked in.. 😭

In my ongoing rewatch of Star Trek Voyager. I've noticed this ongoing running gag where in all the worst timelines, Neelix is in security. Either this means when the going gets tough, they get that desperate. Or you need to keep Neelix away from security at all cost! It will result in bad things!

25 years ago, we all got lucky. The "Millennium Bug" was a huge deal, costing billions to fix. Retired 70-year-old women, the only experts in dead languages and undocumented systems, were brought back to save the day—and they named their price. Good for them.

I’ve been playing a bit of Indiana Jones, and some Half Life 2: Episode 2 in the downtime between Christmas and whatever comes after. And mother fuck. Tony Todd really is the best video game voice actor I’ll never get to work with. RIP legend
