Flying to a City game for the first time which is making Bolton away feel quite exotic #AdarGleisonRhyngwladol 🐦🌍

Bolton away tomorrow and thankfully they’ve now got Josh Sheehan running their midfield instead Jay-Jay Okacha with Youri Djorkaeff to come off the bench (although we actually won this one 2-1) #Bluebirds

Lennie Lawrence called the result a “disgrace”, which was none the less immortalised in stickers. An early warning about Bluebirds in red kit

Lawrence let an assistant take charge of a much weaker side for the 2004 quarter final but we won 1-0 thanks a goal from Stuart Fleetwood

Mixed memories of our last couple of cup matches against County. Lost the semi final of the Premier Cup in 2003 on pens despite putting out a strong team (bar Andrew Jordan who missed a penalty, obviously) to face a County team including City legends Jason Perry and Jeff Eckhart

On this day in 1945, the Manneken Pis was dressed in Welsh Guards uniform to celebrate the liberation of Brussels by Welsh troops exactly a year earlier

Today Brussels’ first citizen received a new uniform to renew the “bond of friendship between Wales and Belgium”

Would have been nice if we’d given Salech any service during the 90 but you can’t complain about last minute limbs

Crazy how some of Cardiff’s nicest spaces are mostly deserted

Did we really need to replace the Wharf with more flats? Can’t we use some of it as a lido with a nice cafe?

All I’ll say about Stoke is that despite everything some decent pubs survive

Generous player ratings in Belgian sports paper DH but Belgium legend Philippe Albert says in Le Soir that this was “the weakest Wales team I’ve ever seen”. Penny for Bellamy’s thoughts on that

“Welsh steel lives on scraps. Wales lives on scraps. Scunthorpe counts for more?”

Vaughan Roderick has had his Weetabix this morning. Fiery interview with Nia Griffith, who called that suggestion “nonsense”

Iphigenia in Splott, Gary Owen’s one woman play about the impact of austerity, was such a hit in Brussels it’s back for a second run. Article à venir sur @nation.cymru
