- bundle stuff this as a desktop app
- or make it run fully offline
- port some other CLI tool (say, ImageMagick)
- add metadata editing / clearing functionality

behind the scenes it's executing the perl-based Exiftool in wasm - kudos to Andrew Sampson for his package zeroperl (that does most of this complex logic) and bjorn3's "wasi_browser_shim," which lets this work totally on the client
