Had the pleasure to see this stunning case of Brutalist university architecture yesterday in Birmingham. I think that Cardiff will end up regretting hiding its fantastic Brutalist Student Union.

Thought of you today. Took some students to the Wellcome Library and the BM, where we handled collyrium stamps.

I have very much enjoyed visiting Malta. One of the highlights were St Paul's catacombs, and in particular this stele showing a Roman doctor's tools (terrible photo)

Maybe one day I will write a book on healing wells. I love them so. But... in my quest for that of St Celynnin (near Conwy), while dismounting a stile, I tripped and sprained both ankles.
