Every GF option is 2-3x more expensive than their gluten counterparts & comes with less. The weekly grocery cost isn't just my son, it's for me and BOTH my kids, and it's around 350 a week. My son is the only GF one. I'd be living in a box under a bridge if all of us had to be GF.

$140k absolutely makes sense as a poverty line. I'm a single dad solo parenting 2 kids w/ no child support or help. I make $100k/yr, rent for a 2bd apt is $2350. My son has Celiac (Gluten free only) so my grocery bills are $350+ per week.
