Since the 60% threshold has been reached, there is no misuse of the legislation. The misuse is using the Nothwithstanding clause. Voters are understandably anoyed. Elected officials need boundaries.

So corporate welfare is okay? Socialism is fine for corporations, but for individuals, not so much? Retooling isn't the public's obligation. It also doesn't improve the economy nor create jobs, but benefits the wealthy. Just more trickle down neoliberal economics.

Why get locked into a trade deal when the US Supreme Court will end up deciding if the US tariffs are illegal or not? The waiting game is unfortunately the right move as the tables could get flipped on everything.
