Just moved over from the other place and settling in. No idea which box I packed the spoons in.
Agreed. Tesla had a good headstart on the competition when it came to electric vehicles but at some point, the rest of the pack were always going to close the distance, and, with their history of automotive know-how, probably overtake.

Such weasel language

I've got pink shirts, pink tops, and even a pair of pink guitars - but I'm definitely not a fan of said jumper. Maybe it's the shade?

That said, it's been insane to begrudge anyone else wearing it if they wanted to and madder still to start reading things into their choice to do so.

It's freaking me out - he's *actually* smiling

So we're expected to believe that Nathan Gill was parroting Kremlin speaking points for cash, while Nigel Farage was just parroting Kremlin speaking points for free?
November 21, 2025 at 6:13 PM
Oh, and I almost forgot - he then looks to make some cash for himself (building Gaza-a-Lago, extorting Ukraine's rare earth minerals, getting Russian sanctions dropped so he can get his trotters on some oligarch roubles or a Trump Tower, Moscow etc. etc.)

So the plan is... surrender?

We all know Trump's chasing a Nobel, but his strategy for 'peace' always seems to be the same - he aligns himself with the more militarily powerful side and tells the other, 'Give them everything they want'.

Fantastic stuff - many thanks!

Can I ask where (and when) these maps came from? I used to live just about here and although it's a long time gone, Wolverhampton still feels like home.

Such a thing seems barely conceivable, yet here we are...

"You're mentioning someone that was extremely controversial. A lot of people didn't like that gentleman that you're talking about. Whether you like him or didn't like him, things happen"

Can't help but think if anyone had used the *exact* same words about Kirk, he'd have gone into meltdown.

I'm reeling at the concept of Ronaldo being in a room where, not only is he *not* the biggest asshole there, he's not even the second or third...

As the Epstein saga has shown, the rich and powerful are wholly indifferent to issues of basic morality when it interferes with profit, favours and connections.
November 18, 2025 at 6:40 PM
I'd say that's the hit you just have to take. Fully appreciate that unexpected things happen, but so be it. I

I'm not keen on the alternative that endorses some kind of profit-making because once that's in, we're just arguing about how big a slice is acceptable.

My concern is that the ticketing companies, who have profited for years from re-selling and organised touting, will eagerly seek out new ways to make dishonest money, and that 'dynamic pricing' and the like will become industry standard.
November 17, 2025 at 8:53 PM
Why should people re-selling because they can't go be making a profit on that?

If it's capped at face value, they can get their money back and that's fine as is.

The many ways the original Wakefield 'study' is flawed are too extensive to get into, but they could mention that Wakefield - the first to propose breaking up the MMR jab into 3, had also filed a patent for a standalone measles vaccine months earlier. Corrupt, rather than simply bad at science

I'm in a band (we play covers, just for fun) and when someone suggests we try a song it can be interesting when we break it down and see if there's anything there. Too often it's just production gloss and there's nothing underneath, but I love it when it unexpectedly goes the other way.
November 15, 2025 at 12:22 PM
Wow. Listened to the album version and it's just not my thing at all, but as you say - strip it down to the bones and there's a great song there.

Even if 'Your Party' were to ideologically fit you like a glove, you'd have to be having some serious doubts about their ability to organise a proverbial piss-up in a brewery (and even more doubts that they could do it without breaking out into petty factionalism)
November 13, 2025 at 11:43 PM
Nothing wrong with having a primary and a secondary (or tertiary, quarternary, quinary and more). Just know that from the snippets you've posted, wherever you rank guitar - it's pretty damn good.
November 12, 2025 at 11:38 PM
I agree that arbitrarily combining the two is gimmicky, but I've also seen a few vids you've posted of your guitar playing, which, like the paintings, is also excellent. An occasional bit of guitar along the way is a treat to be savoured, and never unwelcome.

"He says the BBC committed election interference. Do you understand why he's saying that?"

Yes - it's because he's a shameless opportunist and outrageous hypocrite. Next question.
